Ian, can take a pic later, but easy enough.
There are 4 bolts which hold the box down, 2 in the cubby box and the other 2 you will see by lifting out the plastic cup holder section. undo these, lift the cubby box out, its nice and light made of MDF You will see LR have used soft wood timber battens to level the box with the floor pan, these are glued to the underside of the cubby box. I used 2 additional lenghts approx 300mm of 2x1.5" timber, almost like packers, lined them up, drilled holes through the new battens with the holes lined with the cubby box and bolted my new batten to the original holes made by LR in the floor pan, then screwed the cubby box back into my new timber battens, thus raising it up. Simple. Made new holes in the bootom of the cubby box as your old hole alignemnt has been used by the batten, unless you have some longer bolts kicking around Also gives a secret stash place under the cubby box beacuse there is now a void. Well it was a secret |

Porn mags will fit, but not got mud rails so can't strech legs out But the utility belt with 300mm dildo fits much better. Or good stash for passports and doc's if overland travelling, might not be so suspect if searched |

But you have your nice A4 pocket for your training manuals Tony...i recon there should be enough room for "Dorris"...your portable lover.
She can also be inflated from under the passenger seat when you have one of those "it aint gonna suck itself" moments You cannot teach stupid people to do clever things |

Three batteries? What you thinking of digging up a corpse and trying to jump start it back into life again? If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Been busy (what else is paternity leave for?):
Fitted my 2" receiver - very smart. Made a frame for my under-cubby safe to raise it slightly and fitted that - the dogs danglies Fitted my rear parking sensors - a must-have fit for everyone at £20 Stripped my sankey down completely, waxoyled the chassis and bottom of the tub, serviced the brakes, fixed the wiring and painted the tub - bomb proof - it'll outlast me Oh, and had a kid One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |
