Thank you David... Assuming you are talking about mine... It is my very first Defender and, after yesterday's un-planned emergency trip I am even more enthusiastic about it - can't wait to drive the M25 again tomorrow... Rog... The GREEN One... Got a call from Harwoods today with some bad news.
As they took the clutch off to change it and do the rear main oil seal they discovered the clutch to be in a bit of a shoddy state, but the rear flywheel to be completely dead. Click image to enlarge Basicly looks like it has massively overheated. Does anyone have one in good condition? More info here shortly http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic28138-30.html |

I bet that's a relief Russ! I always dread it even though I'm pretty sure everything is tickety boo.

Polished mi new/take off exhaust middlebox , Autosol and wire wool to a mirror finish , shame to fit it now,LR must use good quality mild steel in their exhausts, polishes up quite easy. Thanks to Steve at LRI solutions for their usual super fast efficient service . Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.

Fitted RDX LED Lights (Traditional Look)
I managed to get 8 of the 10 lights fitted almost in the dark last night (early nights drawing in really not helping). Look amazing and the RDX Relay was very simple to install and configure even by torch light Highlighted the rest of the car's aging parts, so the credit-card will have to come out and sponsor some more upgrades. Tonights job - RDX Fog & DRL Bumper fitment - bumper should be a doddle, a little concerned on the wiring needed for the fog and DRL's but what's the worse that can happen..... I'll put pics on when complete Defender 90 - Tomb Raider LE Discovery 5 HSE - yes, even despite the ugly backend. Range Rover 4.2SC - Gone and still being missed |

Not checked as such, just hoping 8 weeks at sea would have seen the demise of any uninvited guests!
Something did drop on my head somewhere north of Newark but it was just a piece of paper falling out of the map pocket!! Our blog - http://landytravels.com/ Yorkshire Off Road Club - http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net |
