Jet washed the 110, then used the shampoo attachment on the jet wash to shampoo on, then rinsed off and did it with a bucket and sponge, followed by a colour restorer on all panels (apart from the roof) and cleaned the passenger side and rear glass with AutoGlym glass polish.
The 110 now looks a bit cleaner, but not as shiny as I wanted.
Oh and also did some marshalling on the Manchester to Nantwich cycle event. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Keeping a watchful eye on my Defender via MarineTraffic.com. It is currently about to cross the Dover-Calais shipping lane.... Container ship the Cosco Italy due in Felixstowe about 3 am. we had exactly the same, no queues anywhere on mainland europe, get to the M25 .. everything stops Evil or Very Mad


Just to counter this I've just been in France and it's been traffic jam after traffic jam. When back on M25 even Mrs Tiger commented how three lanes works better than two when it's busy

Fixed the spot lights as I only noticed they had stopped working before I went away and luckily it was the relay I'd diagnosed Mr. Green all working and taped up.

Impromptu (second day of Defender ownership) trip - had to make a without warning 400 mile round trip to Brighton & BoggyNor, to visit Mum in hospital and take Dad home before returning to Peterborough area!

A3 was closed overnight at Guildford, with a mahoosive detour around the Surrey countryside to Dorking - loved that diversion to bits, even in the wee small hours!... Thumbs Up

Truck behaved faultlessly and the six hours in it were brilliantly enjoyable, more so than my Ex-RRS... Bow down

Got it all to do again on Thursday... Mr. Green  Rog... Mr. Green
