Swivel Pin Corrosion
Just filled up the swivel pins and noticed that the near side one has two groves on it. Is this cause for concern? Picture below:

Could have been partly caused by an enthusiastic outing on Salisbury Plain, hence the weed.

The balls do corrode, nothing much you can do about it other than using the car regularly and keeping it clean underneath. Even then eventually they will give up.

When they do the corrosion will eventually get to the point where it damages the seal and the oil/grease will leak out. When this happens replace the balls and repeat the process Smile
