If you are driving on a dual carriageway or motorway and cruising at say a steady 70mph (which you can do in your Defender since it is a Dual Purpose Vehicle Very Happy Thumbs Up )

That made me smile Laughing

NO CALLER ID = I do not answer phone now!

Question is it possible to block no caller id calls?

It is possible to block calls that do not have caller I.D. each telephone company has there own codes for doing it. Check the web site of the company you use. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place,
so it doesn't take much to Censored us off.

Actually it's my daughter who's grumpy (I'm actually LMAO)...

Yesterday she bought a 3 year old dog from a second-hand car dealer (!) who had "forgotten" the paperwork and E-Mailed it to her just now.

Apparently the dog is really seven years old and has just started limping Rolling with laughter

I just hope she never buys a car Shocked Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Similar with Quad bikes that seem to be coming ever more popular on the roads near me, ridden by young idiots at speed, accident waiting to happen.

Wot he said about quad bikes. Bunch of Censored . I even wrote to our parish council about the noise and reckless way the sports qauds are ridden in my local area. Got quite a positive response and its on the police radar but I expect feck all to happen. Hopefully they will eliminate themselves from the gene pool at some point.

At least in my yoof we did it on 2 wheels, which makes you much more aware of the consequences of getting things wrong..

Rant over!

AGGGGHHHHH people who believe that the fact that they have a valid MOT that the gear fitted to their vehicle is road LEGAL

MOT is an annual safety check and states that vehicle is safe and roadworthy at the time of inspection, nothing to do with type approval or legality of kit fitted

Censored that I love cold weather, its always easier to warm up as you can wear more layers or do exercise or do something to warm up. Obviously if its -45 then its harder but in the UK it never gets that cold.

When its too hot once you are down to shorts and t-shirt you cant really get any cooler clothing wise, (unless you wear shades Cool) there is no air movement today, and if you stand in front of a fan it is just pushing hot air at you, the machines are chugging away chucking out hot air and the water tanks are full of hot water which is spreading humidity into the air so it makes it even more stifling.

Don't get me wrong I love my job and where I work, but its too hot!

Just had a look at the workshop thermometer 29.7'c Big Cry

1. Drink water to stay hydrated. Always take a refillable thermos of cool water with you.
2. Wet yourself down. Use a spray bottle, squirt bottle, hose, whatever you need to wet your clothing, hair, hat and body.
3. Wet T-Shirt. Soak your t-shirt in water. Or, pack a wet cotton t-shirt in a Ziploc bag to wear when hot.
4. Cool bandanas - Soak a bandana in water and wrap it around the back of your neck. You could also soak two bandanas and wrap one around each wrist.
5. Frozen wash cloths - Freeze wet wash cloths in Zip lock bag. Take with you in cooler. They will be thawed by the time you need them. Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

I think it is lovely today - grumpy people moaning about the weather are making me grumpy!

OK, I'm not stuck working in an office, I'm pottering around the caravan getting ready for a weekend away at club trial. Very Happy :

What there is to grump about is the wet weather forecast for Saturday Sad Our blog - http://landytravels.com/

Audi’s are the new BMW! [sorry to all sensible Audi and BMW owners] Is it me or have you noticed that when cruising on the 2 lane motorway at a steady 70, you pull out to pass a truck and out of nowhere an Audi is suddenly trying to hook on to your tow bar and even when you are still passing the 40’ artic they start flashing you. Impatient s*ds.

Well if they need you out the way, I guess the only way to do that would be to slow down and pull back in behind the lorry. I'm sure they wouldn't find that at all annoying! Laughing
