Don't mean to insult but obviously you've checked tyre pressures? Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

Very nice of course, but your original HD Wolfs are/were equally nice You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

Done all that. And balancing...I got rid of the constant wobble at around 55mph by replacing a knackered wheel bearing. But it is still all over the place when I hit a bump. I am replacing a pan hard rod bush today which has been destroyed in the space of 3 months. It was a genuine one as well!! Thanks for the offer ray....I have been thinking about getting in touch to see whether we could drive each others cars, as it seems you have done everything which is on my list...and more! 2002 110 td5 |

These are the ones: http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=390685087918 They're at the 'cheap and cheerful' end of the spectrum but they do put out fairly decent light for the price and they're not corroding at all. If I were looking for serious light output then I'd spend a bit more or go halogen, but I liked the look of these and they're cheap  Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

Washed it and then considered fitting the new wheels, steel modulars as I've decided to replace the 20" wheels. Look out for them in the for sale area soon. Really like them but I don't think the're right for what I'm doing with it now. _______________________________

I had a wobble that remained after ballancing - eventually found out that one wheel was slightly bent even though it ballanced OK Only discovered by swapping all 4 wheels with another landys and the wobble dissapeared - just a idea |

Swapped the new tyres from front to back and while doing the rear passenger side I discovered that the bolts that hold the flange to the hub 3 of the 5 had sheared!

I'm assuming someone has worked in that area recently? Even so it's very poor form; or is it the tea leaves now moiving on to hub assemblies ! |

There has been no work done in that area other than me changing pads a while ago. I have never had the need to touch the bolt. Ive had the car almost 5 years. So its a strange one. Just happy I found it. 1999 Defender TD5 110
