Took my youngest to the Malvern Challenge, a big Scout weekend that's not at Malvern but near Bishops Cleeve(incidently the campsite is half a mile from where I was born, just by Winchcombe) and the 110 performed well with 4 Scouts and all their kit. Plenty of Land Rovers in the car park, funny how they were being gawped at as they drove past out of the parking and everything else ignored.
The 110 did let me down in one way though, just as I got back to my village those damned orange lights came on! The damned ABS and TC lights. Put the laptop through the Nanocom and breathed a sigh of relief.... FAULT 20-07 front left sensor output too low (LOGGED) 255 times So just a check on the wiring, pop out the sensor and give it a clean all round. It's so much easier when the diagnostics tell you where to look especially when you're dealing with electrickery. |

I think the links to pictures in the gallery are not correct anymore, you seem to linka position in the gallery but as new images are added their position changes. You better copy the direct link / url from beneath the picture in your post Cheers, Vincent 1959 Polynorm 1/4 Ton Trailer, Olive Drab Green (sold) 1970 M416 Military Trailer (Camping Trailer Conversion), Epsom Green (sold) 1975 Series III 88 V6, Light Green (sadly sold) 1996 Defender 110 CSW 300 Tdi, Epsom Green (sold) 2000 Freelander 1 TD4 3-drs, Silver (sold) 2006 Freelander 1 TD4 5-drs Facelift Automatic, Tonga Green (sold) MySite |

Drove down to Weymouth to a dog friendly beach. Dogs loved it, the little one wouldn't stop trying to drink the sea water....yes she emptied her stomach in the back but facing the seats. Carpet plus cubby box needs removing to get at it, so tomorrow's a day of extra cleaning. _______________________________

That's got to be the worst part of camping, especially if it's wet all the next day and there's no opportunity to dry everything off.
Tack - Is that an organised tour of the mountains? Been a few times to Pyrenees, Dolomites, Picos but never really done much real off-roading there. On a list for a future trip si would be keen to know your plan. |

The pyreenes trip I did last year was organised, but the routes are well documented online, I end up remembering routes and then piece them together for a road trip There is loads around the Andorra area, mostly stright forward and IMO plenty of places to stop and camp over night. We will be on our own on this trip, hopefully end up in Andorra and then use the smugglers route out and end up near the Spanish town of Sort.

....Ahhh the joys of a Dormobile!! Nothing to put away wet unless we chose to put up our awnings ! Hope you have a great time in Iceland Higgers ... which route are you taking to get the 110 there? and which route are you taking once there ? We drove all the southern areas in a hired car (Yaris!!) a couple of years ago and are going back to hire a 4x4 to do some of the rougher routes next year. We would love to take our 110 there but we couldnt see an econmical way of getting the 110 there and back.
