2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 HCPU Stornoway Grey
Hit 20,000 KMs a couple of days ago, so time for oil change. Here in Malaysia advised to change oil every 10,000 KMs.

Then went on to grease the UJs … but no joy. Got the grease gun on the nipple but couldn't get any grease in. I even tried the needle attachment that I have, but the grease would just come back out of the nipple as fast as I could pump it in.

Thinking of taking the UJs apart, cleaning them and greasing by hand … lot of work though …

Sitting here, I just realise I forgot the check the air filter.

Drive a local green lane and found the time to replace the missing water shedders in my front doors - something that the body shop didn't bother to do when they replaced the doors after they were all stolen last year.

And I wondered why my carpets were always wet.

Back doors next...

Replaced contaminated oil in rear diff, approved used defender, only covered 6000 miles in total, 1500 miles since the diff levels and oil were checked by the dealers service dept!!! Somehow I'm not convinced they even opened the plugs! Evil or Very Mad

Considering rejecting the car as there's no knowing what damage has been done to the gearbox & transfer box if they're full of water too!!! Crying or Very sad 2014 110 2.2TDCi XS Station wagon

Tweaked the exhaust and fitted an exhaust bracket to the rear X member to stop the tail pipe fowling the hole in the rear wing, tweaked the injection pump, and took some general pic's of my landy as it is now Very Happy
