Bp Man, Surely your wifes told you to stop by now. You must be safe from punctures with all these wheels you keep buying. How long are you going for! Defender puma dormobile camper

Fitted Wipac Crystals and Philips exteme bulbs then went to get headlights aligned at garage up the road. Next I filled door hinge bolts with araldite then anti theft bolts on rear door hinges then stainless screws on all lights and indicators now rewarding myself with some wine. 110 Hardtop

Went to see Dave @ Landyglass on Thursday to have my panel sided 90HT fitted with fixed glass sides and quarter-lights.
Having spent a couple of hours or so with Dave and watching him cut the sides out of my precious truck he transformed it into something much better. When he had finished it was clear that I also needed the rear door glass replacing to give the overall look so he fitted one of the new matching heated glasses with the LED stop light (which goes better with my other LED tail lights now) It was a pleasure to meet and talk to Dave while watching him work. It was even more of a pleasure to drive home with the best vision out of the truck I have ever enjoyed. It has made the whole driving experience more pleasurable and the dogs (who's transport it is really) cannot believe how much more they can see out when we are going off for walks Dave's attention to detail was great and the alignment of the glass panels and the infill of the extreme edges very neat. No additional noise (possibly even less) but I need to refit my internal trim after some fettling (I had full carpeted panels) before I can make any real comparison. Highly recommended if you are thinking of having it done. I can now see if its clear before pulling out at dangerous junctions and yet it still has the exterior panel look of a HT that I wanted to try and keep. Hope the pictures say more than this short note.... |

Hmmm, I think my 110 CSW might be getting some of that treatment - just need to get it delivered first!

Today installed a solar panel to top up the second battery (Yellow Top), so the coolbox can provide me with some nice cold beer when the sun is shining like today!

Hoover the landy to remove fine dust from yesterdays rally that settled on pretty much every surface.
Altered the B-o-B gearbox tunnel tray by removing the middle part of the tray and now I can get low box. 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |
