Switzerland 2009 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SVX Station Wagon Santorini Black
Took it to the dealer. One of my rear seats mechanism is playing up. They tried to sort it out on the spot, but not so easy, so it will go in for that on 27-05....

While I was waiting in the show room, I saw sold signs on all the Range Rovers there, one FFRR, 3RRS, forgot to count the Eewoks. Some Americans walked in to buy an Eewok for madame, and I heard her say that she actually wanted it for driving today, right now on the spot. Shocked Those things really sell like breakfast rolls here. Laughing At least, there was one real Land Rover on display too. Thumbs Up You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Fiddled with my lights, had to make a few tweaks to go back to 100% legal even if it means incandescent number plate light and side repeaters. Rolling Eyes Big Cry Rolling Eyes

Nothing at all, just that they are in E marked lenses so not strictly legal as mentioned on here before with LED fixtures in.
I've just got the LED relay so when I adjust it and fit tomorrow it makes sense to change beforehand.
I'd rather just swap back than always have it in the back of my mind.
Shame, because I know they are safe and working as they should but there we go.
If anyone wants the side repeater LED's and number plate LED's contact me as I probably won't be using them again. Neutral
If an E marked LED side repeater set is developed I'll certainly get them though. Smile

Fitted my RDX indicators and relay at long last. (In between rain Rolling Eyes )
Works well, very pleased so far!
Flash speed just seems a tad slower but that's good anything but super speed.
Yesterday swapped back to incandescent number plate light and side repeaters.

Went over to Hadley Green in the 110 to pick up our brand new Land Rover.

Have to say Jeremy & David were brilliant! Car is loverly but as it's really Mrs Tiger's car she's delighted. Aswell as the car, she got some flowers, the kids got Teddy bears each and I even got an Umbrella.

Handover was thorough and proffesional.

Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

(Also had a nosey at Ken's X-Tech which is just brilliant, great to see it)

Loaded it with the Daughters possessions and after a couple to trips she's officially left home after 23 years. Felt brilliant telling everyone, now just a worried Dad again.
Off to the various DIY places to find a door jam, adjustable window bars and better locks......then just pop round for a cup of tea and fit everything. _______________________________

Can relate completely Nobby. Did exactly the same on 1 May; only difference being that my daughter was 24. Even our shopping lists were similar. Now a worried Dad again but all is good. '13 Defender 90

Fitted a new aux 12V socket in the back. Flushed with success I thought I'd take the tow electrics apart as well because I was going to replace them. Eventually got the socket open (mounting bolt heads had turned to dough) only to find the fitting inside was a solid block of rusted gunk. Suspect I'll have to snip the wiring out to cut it off -- hopefully there's enough slack in it. Unless there's a better way? 2009 110 XS Station Wagon

Took part in the Landy Festival. Brilliant fun. Then joined the attempt on the Guinness Record for the most vehicles in a convoy; all Land Rovers, by far and away the majority were Defenders. Waiting for confirmation that we achieved it.
