Yes, It is possible.
In fact there are several 12V to 24V converters. All will depend of how much current draw the equiment to buy the rigth converter. If it's just a resistive heating element then it will probably work at 12V, just slowly.

I looked at fitting a BV into my 110. It's a helluva current draw. I dismantled it and looked at finding another element to fit inside, a 12v one, but didn't go into too much searching and eventually binned it.
I reckon if you got a couple of those travel kettles, you could canniblise the elements and fit them into the BV casing though. |
