My 90 is known as the happy bus.....Self explanatory
 Daughter is now 8, and has always loved being in it, around it and fixing it. As they grow up they do become more useful (know what a 10mm spanner is, find it and pass it to you ) ....... but the questions and explanations become longer  Great fun though and a chance to do stuff together, beats going shopping.  |

Much90, enjoy it as before you realise she'll be grown up and you'll have to rely on the part time help of SWMBO! Then your helper will ask "when did you buy this"

Yes, my four year old daughter loves to help. One time we'd just finished changing something, she was helping in her own way as they do. So a quick check around that everything was ok, tools back in the tool chest and off we go for a test drive.
The first corner and I hear the clattering sound of metal on the road. Quick look in the wing mirrors to see a shiny metal object bouncing on the road. All stop. Out of the Defender and walk back up the road to find a 13mm combination spanner on the road. Luckily no one else around, could have been a lot worse. Nearly as good as my brother (3 yrs old) who was helping dad fix a radiator on his SI Fair play dad had just finished soldering it up and my brother bless him thought it would look better with a screw driver pushed through it. |

Enjoy it while you can I remember replacing the n,s,f, drive shaft seal on the wifes rover 25
while being helped by her 13 year old daughter (yes she was in full teenage stroppy phase back then) But for a few hours she was perfect nothing was to much trouble, it was a perfect time to talk to her and get a window on her life... Soon enough it will be nappy night disco`s god that was scary  Excuse the spelling I`am better with spanners and wires. |
