Germany 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Baltic Blue
Split pins for Puma brakes
Hi all

I know this has been asked before but the answer doesn't help me...

I need some split pins for when I change the disc pads on the 110 (2.4) - please can anyone tell me what size they are? I need to order them as nowhere around here has them just knocking around.

Even better, can someone tell me where to order them from (UK is fine)?

Cheers

if your talking about the very small ones in the end of the main pins

it may be easier to buy a brake fitting kit which has 2x main pins 2x springs 2x split pins or whatever you need for your defender

you would need to get the right set for your defender

the kits are normally only a few quid ( on the bay £3.50 with post (uk) I would guess a lot more from land rover

and handy in case you lose something when fitting

Cheers - a lot of the STC8575 kits have fancy "B" clips instead of split pins, e.g.

I checked and my MY2011 has split pins.
Do you reckon they're all as good as each other? Tell someone you love them today because life is short.

Okay - think I finally managed to find the kits I need in Germany from the same place and not costing a fortune Rolling Eyes
The part numbers STC8574 and STC8575 are listed for loads of vehicles so I just hope they are all identical.

Thanks to all Thumbs Up Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
