Anyone have these installed ?
I like the idea of it written in arabic, however is this like a gate you need to open in order to reach the filler cap or has a cut in the middle to put it in the surface of the fuel filler cap area ?

this is a piece of rubber...you bend it a little to fix it and remove it the same way when you need to fill the tank...press your nail between this and the body and remove it...very simple! and efective when you drive on mud and water! keeps the area clean! Regards

I bought one 4 years ago and it's like new. Very high plastic quality.
It help to reduce the dust to attach to the area around the filler cap.

Defendoors are made by an American called Mark in the Czech Republic by a vacuum forming process. It is a minor offshoot of their main business supplying parts go the German car business.

Have used them for years and they certainly keep the majority of crap out from the fuel filler area. Thumbs Up

Useful in dry dusty conditions as well as that drop or two of diesel spilt and some sand can become a sticky mess.

Also have one and keeps dust out and the filler nice and clean.

Ps....I also bought it because of the last sentence on it...it is written in Afrikaans!

I've got one and it keeps a lot of the red Pilbara dust out of the filler area. I've also burnt my initials ATH in it as I saw a weasely looking bloke looking lustfully at it. Very Happy

They are well worth the money especially if you have tyres that through mud/dust up the back from the rear wheels. Only problem is that mine keep getting nicked. Obviously proves that not all Defender owners are trustworthy Whistle

Get a couple(they're not expensive) and as AlanH mentions put your initials on. Or better still secure it with a wandering lead similar to the secure fuel filler caps.

I have one also, helps stop the lock freezing in the winter. I have it secured with a bit of wire so I can't leave it at a filling station or loose it if it fell off.

My first one fell off, but they kindly supplied a replacement. Now
I have it secured with a strap. I think this should be standard.
