Had a couple of busy days
Added a second battery and voltage sensitive relay with out blowing up the wagon! Changed out the radio for a pioneer DAB one with a couple of USB ports, Bluetooth hands free, an SD card slot and even a CD player - then spent a happy hour getting a good earth for the wing mounted FM aerial. (not added the DAB aerial yet) I made and fitted a couple of screw down hooks to hold the waffle boards on the rack and fitted the roof box on ready for our trip to Norway in a couple of weeks. As we are supporting the 10 Tors next weekend with the 4x4 response team I fitted the antenna and cable for our dual band two way radios on the 110 and my partners Disco 2. Still to do is fitting the dash glove box when it arrives, and add a power socket in the box at the same time .. just got to clean it in time to spend the weekend on Dartmoor in the mud! Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html Elgar -TDCI(Puma) 110XS Dormobile - now sold Devon & Cornwall 4x4 Response - DC126 |

Came out to my 110 after work, usual foot mat full of water and surprise surprise found my dash tray swimming in water too. Looks like I have another leak from somewhere behind the dash.
Hopefully will be sorted when she goes in for her welding but arugh. I keep telling myself if I was to buy a new one It would still leak in all the same places and be paranoid about it breaking but it is so tempting. |
