Imo, lighforce 170's are the boyo, 240's are too big IMO and the lighting from the 170 is more than enough for me.

170's also bolt directly onto the genuine 'abar'

Suggest you contact by PM forum member kitoper. He has a pair of the recently launched new Hella LED high beam lamps just installed on his Hunter edition. Best looks and best quality light I have ever seen. They are a nice match with his Nolden too.Thumbs Up
I will see kitoper tomorrow in the office, and will mention to him to look for your PM if you would want to do that.

I don't want a complicated install nor do I want something being too big, I like the oem look but open to non oem stuff. I like the idea of Hella's as I have Nolden headlamps on the way (chrome finish)

The LED Luminater vs Rallye model,

Which looks better ?

I like how they fit the bumper nicely, not big or small as oem lights

for those who installed it do I need stuff or brackets to install, the LR A Nudge bar will come with the required brackets ?

As a matter of fact, I was talking about none of those two. But an entirely new Hella lamp. You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Kuwait = high temperature! So lots of cooling needed.

Winch and large lights in front of radiator will hinder aif flow through radiator.

Will it be worthwhile to consider an engine coolant alarm??

^^ Brendan, any good suggestions for that? I have seen someone installed something from you which seems connected to an engine bolt, but wonder how accurate that is.

I would prefer a temperature gauge and a sensor which gives the exact water temperature as is the case with most other cars. Something like an extra 70mm VDO water temp gauge which be built into the side of center console with a reliable extra water temp sensor under the hood....

Even better would be if the standard water temp gauge in the Puma dash could be reprogrammed in order to show the real temp, and not be stuck in the middle until it would eventually flip up all the way into red.... when it probably is too late.
