^^ X2 Absolutely stunning indeed,.......... but so is that Defender next to it You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Thoroughly vacuumed the SVX today. Got rid of all the pollen that are being accumulated this time of the year. The outside is slowly turning yellow instead of black right now with all the rapeseed fields in bloom here. You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Forgot to put one of the Bee syrup feeder lids on correctly so had a nice sweet sugary carpet in the back. Too lasy to put the tray in the back so accidents like this don't happen. As I spent the afternoon working on the 90 it was a magnet for Bees all afternoon until the rain came. Used the steam cleaner and no more syrup or Bees. _______________________________

Voltage tested the towing electrics (12N). All looked fine. Continuity tested the trailer electrics. All looked fine, bar a couple that wouldn't actually wire up to anything on the trailer (I *think*).
Sat and wondered why the blooming lights don't actually reliably come on when I plug the two together. Suspect it's because both connectors show signs of corrosion, so looks like I'll be off to Halfords for some contact cleaner (and some sort of conductive gel?). 2009 110 XS Station Wagon |

Most likely the trailer plug if it's been sitting about for a while.
Change it for a new one, they are only cheap and go from there. That's what I'd recommend anyway. |

That might save me a couple of hours getting covered in grim chemicals and fiddling with rolled up 220-grit sandpaper. Ta 2009 110 XS Station Wagon
