Laughing they wanted the bigger version, but it wont fit up the driveway as they prefer it at home over winter rather than left in the yard. It looks a lot prettier in the water Thumbs Up Defender puma dormobile camper

Have you taken off the door flap to the compartment to the right of the drawer unit? I'm thinking how to utilise this space best as the existing door fouls on the tailgate cable bracket.

Not today, today just went to work and back.

But yesterday, did a 100 mile round trip between home and work, then work and girlfriends uni to pick up her tools and materials, then girlfriends uni to girlfriends house to grab clothes and a few bags of clay (and a pizza Whistle) then back home to unload quietly.

Very pleasant drive, temp behaved itself, had the radio on and just cruised away at 55 with the turbo happily whistling away to itself (except the long hills where it screamed to itself quite happily).

Did have to re-pressure the tyres as they had dropped a bit.

(Yesterday) In my Defender we went along a 44km 4x4 track (mostly deep soft sand) and at the end found a lookout with the most amazing views of land and sea. Watching the marine life in the sea below we saw sharks, mantarays and turtles. Sometimes having a 4 wheel drive you get to see so much more! Smile

(Pics on our blog, as usual)

Interestingly at the beginning of the track the National Park had provided tyre deflation and inflation equipment along with - get this - instructions on how to engage 4wd and free wheeling hubs!! This was a newish sign... Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Bless!

Just to add, we have had loads of comments from people in Oz about how good Land Rovers are ... How they wish they'd kept theirs instead of getting a newer Nissan/Toyota! Thumbs Up Our blog - http://landytravels.com/

Yes mate Thumbs Up Just drilled the heads off the two rivets, simples, can be re-riveted if required. But this allowed me to move draw really close to rear tailgate, leaving a nice storage void between draw and rear bulkhead.
