Dancing..........
After gentle persuasion which has been ongoing for a looong time I have capitulated and started ballroom dancing. Only been doing it for a few weeks and it is so frustrating.. We are learning waltz, slow step, quick step, cha cha cha etc and not having done anything like this before my head and feet seem to be dis-connected at times.

Starting to enjoy it but very frustrating at the same time so my manly sports now include LR's, shooting and dancing.....what a mixture.

Wish me luck I have to go to my first ball next week. Thud

I agree with Zeedefender, I too took ballroom dancing lessons, the things you do to please an attractive female. I thought it was time to stop when after one extremely interesting Summer Ball where copious amounts of alcohol had been imbided and I had swopped my suit for a ballgown. It was weeks before I found the true owner, god I must have been drunk and those beer goggles must have been very dirty!

Actually Brendan, you are wrong in this statement. In accordance with scientific research and confirmation on the programme "Duck Quacks Don't Echo" it is actually Men who are better at Multi-Tasking than Women. Only marginally, but never the less better!! Whistle

Saw three women on phone whilst driving yesterday, and I only drove about 10 miles yesterday. Going up a steep winding hill, stupid idiot on phone coming down hill out of control on my side of the road. Euro box against a 110 with a big winch mounting system on the front, euro box will lose. Dry stone wall on her side of road holding up the field would also win against a poxy eurobox. OK metal can be scrapped/repaired it is not so easy to repair people.

If women really were better at multitasking, why do they always turn the radio down when parking? Rolling with laughter Cheers, Vincent

Why do women stop at a roundabout when nothing coming from the right and wait for all traffic from the left has gone before moving off. Banging Head Don't make old people mad.

My other half did that and some poor sod ran into her, of course he thought she would go straight across but she stopped. Both cars written off but his insurance paid. 130 crew cab

I'm a bit cheesed off, opened a box from RimmerBros, I'd ordered some genuine radius arm to axle bushes, they came in LR marked bags and also a couple of OEM propshaft UJ's for the rear axle of my 110.
The UJ's came in Britpart boxes marked as OEM parts, that I could just about stomach, not happy but I have an open mind. But what has really got me p****d off is the "No grease nipple" on the box, open the box and no nipple or even anywhere to screw one in! This is supposed to be an OEM part, nowhere does the listings or anywhere through the order process does it say "No nipple" The listing: http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-RTC3458P1 even has a picture showing the grease nipple so you feel that you are buying what you see.

I need to replace a UJ so I shall have to fit one, the other was for a spare, as it needs doing before it breaks out and I've got some longish journeys coming up and little time to hang around to get a good one and fit it.

I've sent a pointed email back and see if I get an apology for their misrepresentation and pointed out that my confidence in ordering anything from them has been sorely dented. I wouldn't have minded if I had paid less than half the price for the cheap one the sell, I'd expect that one not to have a grease facility not one marked as OEM.

@JWL under the terms of the distance selling act you have the right to return the goods for a full refund as you have not had the opportunity to inspect them before paying for them, can,t remember if the period is 7 or 14 days.

This applies to all on line or mail order purchases. 2005 Td5 90 XS

I know I can but I need to fit something in the morning(it's the only spare time I've got) before a few longish trips through the rest of the week. I was doing a JIT(Just in Time) method of working this week and just like British Leyland I'm going to be fitting inferior parts Whistle
I am putting the experience down to part of lifes learning, and am starting to get very wary of OEM described parts. Today I received a injector harness in a Bearmach bag and was a little perturbed to see the quality of that part. This was another part that needed to be fitted due to a failure of my current one. The make up of the Bearmach one has led me to thinking of refurbishing my old one. The new one has uninsulated terminals visible at the top of the plugs to the injectors and given why the harnesses fail in the first place I was a little surprised on how it was made. I shall set to one of the days and strip out the old harness and remake it and with soldered ends and resin up to the terminals I'm sure it can't be any worse than what I've seen today.

On a shout early this morning cycle round like usual as its quicker and hit a massive great pothole thats appeared in the middle of the road, not helped by them now turning the streetlights out to so my bike light didnt stand much chance picking it out! skinned my knee, cut the faces of both my hands along with other cuts and bruises, bent the front wheel snapped a pedal off along with ripping the grips and saddle. Cheers Essex county council! Its a normal road and know it well but wasnt expecting it as is a perfect square 20" across and about 4 or 5" deep. Would have been ok on my mountain bike but my tourer with skinny racing tyres didnt think so so now feeling very sorry for myself. Sad Defender puma dormobile camper
