Entreq gets my vote

Expensive but really well made.

I've had one on mine for 2 years now, and it looks as good as day one

The original ex-MOD one is excellent. To be fair though, it's not as if it's a piece of complicated machinery - I think all of the various versions do exactly the same job.

Basically, get one that doesn't break or crack when you stand on it. Any that do that job are best, but they all do the primary job just the same - prevent snow getting into the intake. 1998 110 300Tdi White Hard Top

I was offered an entreq, beautifully made, but a lot of £ for a logo IMHO, I have a blanchards metal on and a mud stuff plastic one.

TBH the mudstuff one is strong enough to stand on and is plastic, worked fine in the arctic last year

If you like the look off it I can understand fitting one but I clear most off the snow off my car before driving so I don't see the need fitting one. Laughing Roel

The 90 is road legal again so I don't use the trailer for events in The Netherlands anymore.

It will end up in one color when I have my roll cage ready. I am test fitting it now regulary and make scratches on the body. Roel

It also of course does a great job keeping water out (both rain and spray) and as a result the interior steams up less.

It seemed to me a daft idea when LR put an upward-facing hopper at the heater intake!

I got one of an Ebay seller that's tough as nails but I also wanted the gloss finish (shiny black Chelsea Tractor) Suits the vehicle nicely and does exactly what it was designed for... keeps snow and water out.

I didn't think about the water. You got a point there. Roel

More use for water than snow in this part of the U.K, when i fitted mine there was an inch or so of water in the trunking as the drain valve had blocked with debris so when the heater was on it was drawing in moist air, just what you don,t need when trying to clear your windscreen ! 2005 Td5 90 XS
