Cheers Razler, I'm currently looking into buying a new guel filter housing part at the moment so hopefully that will sort it. Michael was just telling me a story about a friend of his who slept with a land rover, lonely nights in the desert..

I have actually god an LR bleed valve already, I bought one for my existing fuel filter head but it would fit, I seem to have some off fuel filter head, all the brass fittings going into it are different to the pics I have seen. I've given up trying to understand why its like that or where its come from, just gonna replace it and see how it goes.
Good shout on the britpart item though. Still just need to understand which part number I need..... Michael was just telling me a story about a friend of his who slept with a land rover, lonely nights in the desert.. |

My independent says you should not let your fuel run to low before filling up, as running the tank low puts stress on the pump! Any thoughts? Td5

The fuel pump on my girlfriends TD5 90 was whining for months and really noisy, it lasted 6 months before it died altogether. If the noise is coming from your pump then maybe its a sign that the pump is on its last legs?!
