Thanks Steve for picking that up for me.
I took delivery of a rear carpet set (load area) for my 110. This is from LRI solutions and came with some exmoor trim tags on it The only issue I had when I mailed them before was that there were the gaps for the 3rd row seat brackets. Not a problem Mr Lishlandy, with your blessing (ok not quite like that) we will send out some off cuts to fill those in for you, true to their word there are 2 massive off cuts for me to cut to shape and stick down....now to just get my defender back from the dealers, who have had it for 3 days and counting for warranty work and are still diagnosing the mechanical problems...some of which I hadn't even noticed...great guys over at Chipperfield but 'I WANT MY DEFENDER BACK'. I am petrified to use my loan Freelander after the last incident of a woman knocking off the wing mirror, admitting liability and then back tracking that it was 50/50 and leaving me to cough up the £560 repair bill!!! I hate LR courtesy car terms and conditions =================================== Steve 90 xs sw in Stonoway Grey - Sold 110 USW X-TECH |

What I didn't do was drive my defender, what I did, was hear that they may need to keep it over the weekend!

It seems they have had to play with or replace:
Driveshaft Rear axle Gear box Clutch Transmission Mostly just reassemble I believe as a lot of stuff was wabbly. The above was all taken out an places all over the workshop for one reason or another. Great news is I'm writing this sat at the service desk to get my keys back and the courtesy car is intact! Drove in to work enjoying the sunrise grinning like a idiot listening to the soundtrack of my engine and all the squeaks and rattles associated with defender ownership.
Loving it! |

Not what I did in my Defender today, but perhaps what I did with yours... I watched somebody's pride and joy being built An engine to TDi for!
