fix it help
Hi

Can anyone suggest where I can get a pump learn done over the next few days?
(Birmingham area)

Also the EGR. I know there's plenty of knuckle scrapping but what's the best tool for the lower nut? I can't seem to get anything to fit / stay on?

That lower EGR nut is best accessed accessed from beneath IMO but is still very awkward and you have to have quite long arms to do so.
I used a regular socket set and extension bars but it's tight.
Don't forget when fitting o use the correct torque too, really is a must. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Was hoping to find the time to fit the EGR blank today but I have more urgent issues to resolve Sad

Friday night I had a short but serious case of kangaroo fuel.....but last mile of journey was fine so didn't give it anymore consideration until I came to use it the next time (this morning) .......

No mil light but it would appear to be in limp mode.....the hill near me I can do I 6th normally I had to drop to 3rd at 30mph.

What could it be Big Cry

So. Defender is stuck in limp mode but it is now in very capable hands so hopefully we can find what's causing the problem which is hopefully the problem I've had all along.....

If nothing else hopefully this will give Mal an almost daily does of Laughing

Do remember to alert Tracker if your car is in a garage getting looked at that it may get reved over 1500rpm from time to time and get to speeds in exess of 51mph Big Cry heheh. they will wonder what the heck is going on if they are watching it drive Rolling with laughter

The car is clogged up to the hilt with dirt and crap because the owner drives like a fairy and really should drive it a little harder to keep the spiders away hehe. Thumbs Up
