It's going to a friend to connect the stuff. Time time time Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed too much traveling for the moment.

Did the install of the handle on the right hand side of the steering colum. There where RHD Defs have the light switch. and that's just perfect and solid.
Pics follow.

Stuff does not work. Will remove it all. Make it original again and go for refund. Crying or Very sad

Great thanks!

PS - Puma is great! We have a 1983 V8, 2000 TD5 and a 2007 TDCi. i love all three but the latter is a really really great bus!

Hi Mick,

Contacted Howard-May for a quote to fit my puma, here is the reply:

http://www.howard-may.co.uk/4555.html

Hello Brian, and thank you for your enquiry. Your Defender is drive-by-wire, so the solid-state cruise control is the one we use. The fitting is mobile, and your quote is set out below. Please find attached pictures of the standard and upgrade command modules. If you require any further information, please get back to us. The cruise control is guaranteed for 1 year.

Solid-State cruise control (with stalk command module) £335.00
Clutch switch £15.00
Fitting (At your location) £155.00

Optional 2-memory command module Add £10.00

Regards.

Steve Jones (Howard-May)

Wonder how easy it would be to fit myself? Could then put the £155 towards getting a X-DeFlex - Unlockable Anti Roll Bar!!!! Wink
