A parenthesis
Just I remember an accident happens in Chile in the 80's. All the train have a pedal called the "dead man pedal" In order to turn on the train, warm up and start to move it is necessary that the train driver put his foot in this pedal as a safety measure. At this time, Chile was playing a soccer match for the world cup classification and one chilean score a goal. Near to the central station a train driver run up to the guard house to see the goal and put a brick in the "dead man pedal" of his machine. Suddendly the train start up without the driver and the train end up in the middle of the main avenue of Santiago. Fortunately all the people were in their house seein the match and nobody was hurt. End of the parenthesis and sorry Cheers Eduardo MY 2007 110 SW PUMA 2.4: Big Fog of 64' MY 1994 Jayco 1207 Folding camper: "El Tremendo" Click image to enlarge |

It's going to a friend to connect the stuff. Time time time too much traveling for the moment. Did the install of the handle on the right hand side of the steering colum. There where RHD Defs have the light switch. and that's just perfect and solid. Pics follow. |

I've Been looking about for cruise control for my SVX.
I've just noticed that Waeco MagicSpeed 800, with cable set MS-F02 may be compatible with Defender. It's compatible with Freelander2 and Ford Transit? Anybody received any advice to the contrary? Dave. |

Noticed on the ECU circuit diagram a pin marked PTO/FFT. Don't know what the FFT stands for but PTO could stand for "Power Take Off". So is this a way in setting the engine speed if you have a PTO fitted, if so maybe it could function as a basic cruise control. Just a thought.

I've asked to Waeco few weeks ago about their cruise control kit and the replied that they have not a specific kit for Defender Td4, the only one that can be use is the universal kit with vacuum servo.... Matteo Defender 110 Td4 SE MY 09 |
