well me and the misses set off to go and have a look at a house to buy, we jumped in the truck and I thought this is slow today and not much power, got to the house and all was good then driving home I hear a pop sound and then is sounded like we were driving through water, but no its the turbo top hose has been rubbed through by the aux belt so creeped it home and now waiting for LRA to come out but will prob be told " We don have the part but will have to get it in to the dealer" Rolling Eyes

so let the wait continue Thumbs Up

Exactly the same happened to me Thursday. LRA guy came, took the pipe off, went to our local dealer got a new one, came back and fitted it. He said he's done loads but not allowed to carry the pipes with him.

Took the roof off the 90 today as part of my dismantling
Feel a bit sad as we've done over 100k mikes together
I know I've a new one but I feel sorry for it
Daft I know it's only a machine
But can't help it

Fitted some bits. I wanted recovery points and steering protection but I also wanted to be able to fit a towball on the front for occasional use. Looks a lot neater at the back but I lost my step. Confused

Got the lot from extreme 4x4

SteepleJack

The steering guard looks a nice bit of kit, do you know if they make it without the 2 side recovery points as cant see much use for them with the central point?

Edit. Just been on there site, it seems they dont. Still looks great though Defender puma dormobile camper

Took my dad's 130 down the bottom of a field. Got stuck. Took my 90 to rescue him. Got stuck. Got neighbour's tractor to pull us both out. A good Sunday Thumbs Up Lesson from today: dont go to the bottom of a grassy hill after the wettest January on record!!

One stuck:

It'll be a muddy drive home for me tonight!

The damage to the field... It was like the Somme. We were diggin trenches to divert the water trickling down the hill.

Well Saturday but anyway. Went to CSK landrovers and had a heated screen fitted along with a new rear axle ball joint locating thing.
Now goes over speed humps without banging about and a great service from Chris. Just got to wire the screen now....
