Italy

I had a blast driving mine up into the mountains, so that the kids could learn how to slide down some white stuff that fell out of the sky, on those plastic stick things. Mine's a UK registered vehicle living in Italy and so it gets some really funny looks, but up in the mountains I found a lot of other Landys, and all of the Italian owners were very enthusiastic about waving!

So a good Land Rover day, although getting a 110 around some of the tight mountain switchbacks required a bit of forethought...

Drilled a hole with a 6.5mm drill bit for my new fuel cap leash attachment. Not really a major upgrade, but one which came automatically now that my defective fuel cap has been replaced by a new one.
Then took the truck to my office to park it up prior to the forecasted rain and snow for next week, which invariably means tons of new salt which will be distributed on our roads. You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Nothing for me Sad Its away for a bit of paint under warranty so had the pleasure (or not) of an A class courtesy car until next week. Most characterless vehicle I've even driven!
Still, bought a steering wheel for the next defender on ebay. I've got a choice of 3 to choose which one to fit from now Laughing Defender puma dormobile camper

Fitted a genuine fuel filter because when it was serviced last they put a non gen on and the top mounting seal had started to weep even though the filter was tight Rolling Eyes
