Have you concisidered removing the LAND ROVER. badge from the bonnet or even fitting and older bonnet? Give the classic look your going for.

Is the bulge needed to clear the engine or just to create a large enough gap for crash testing?

Looks great, where did you find the stage 3 grill? www.td5.org

Thanks all. Very Happy

Good point re the 'LAND ROVER' bonnet text - I'm thinking about removing it, perhaps I should have a play in Photoshop first to see how it looks. Unfortunately the bonnet bulge is there for clearance - I'd love to fit a TD5 bonnet as I much prefer the look, but it just doesn't fit. Sad

The grille was a lucky find on ebay - have been looking for one for ages, then just like buses two have come along at once! Mine was from Blanchards and they have the second one listed now, ending today if anyone else wanted one:

Here's a quick photo from the weekend after taking a run out to Burton Dassett along some very wet and muddy roads. Not a great pic, but slightly less ugly surroundings than the last one! Very Happy

I wouldn't be removing "LANDROVER" from the bonnet. I reckon you've got it right (as I have?!)..LANDROVER on the bonnet, & the OE Defender badge which fits where it's supposed to.
I prefer LANDROVER on the bonnet to the 2014 DEFENDER also.
Cheers, Pickles.

Think you might be right Pickles - I did a quick badge removal in Photoshop and it looked a bit odd because the Puma bonnet front face is a bit wider and more plain looking than the older style one I think. The Land Rover text will stay there for now... Very Happy

I see what you mean. The lack of shape at the from of the bonnet would look empty without the badge. www.td5.org

Struggling to remember to be honest, but I think the rear would be £40-£50 and the front around £20...
