To keep with the topic, mine got a clay bar all over today and a good going over with Autoglym then liquid hard wax so treated for another couple of weeks. Still considering which set of boost alloys to keep and sell as have a choice of gloss black or standard for my 285's. Decisions decisions! Very Happy Defender puma dormobile camper

Is it the end of the world today, I went to Sainsburys to drop youngest off for his bag packing stint for Scouts at 9, Ye Gods, it took me close on an hour to get back out again, absolutely unbelievable.
The boy was in all day on Saturday and had his eyes opened, he couldn't believe things like a bloke buying a telly and a trolley full to the brim with drink and a box of own brand wafer mints who then paid just over 600 in crisp 50 notes, the boy has never seen hard cash like that!

Just dropped off my 110 for a service at the local dealer .. not full of confidence as the service reception guy was asking me 'what are these defenders like?' When I asked them to look at a steering box leak he asked whether it was coming from the steering wheel (!) .. Please let it be okay when I collect later. 2008 Defender 110 XS SW - M57N2 / 6HP28X

Back from the dealer .. 285 lighter for an oil change, a new filter and a quick once over .. Crying or Very sad Extended warranty runs out in August .. may well start doing the servicing myself .. next one is 650! 2008 Defender 110 XS SW - M57N2 / 6HP28X

Came across this on the way home thru the lanes, Big flood with an cross current and all manner of debris from the river which had breached its banks. Easily dispatched in the 110 although I did have an snorkel which is good as it came over bonnet!
Went thru it 3 more times to give it an good wash underneath!
