9t, nice car in nice picture Very jealous of your weather You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Thanks ericvv. Yip, the weather here in SA makes for an outdoor life second to none. Tomorrow we head off, my wife in the Defender and me on my BMW1200GS, to the mountains of our Eastern Free State for some offroad heaven; car and bike. I'll post some pics once we're there. '13 Defender 90

Completed a 650 motorway miles in 2 days in my TD5 90 CSW. Despite the weather, it didn't miss a beat, didn't break my spine, and I can still hear things ok. I have a D4 which would do the journey in the lap of luxury, but the Defender was very enjoyable, and surprisingly relaxing to drive. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

Just fitted 3x track rod ends, as the rubbers had perished and failed the MoT this week.
And some new rear antiroll bar bushes. top tip: the rear A/R bushes (the 4 small ones that are in the bottom of the balljoint "link", held in with a funny very fat bolt), are the same as series 3 damper bushes! same part number too. 552819 |

Used the rear of the USW as a temporary fridge overnight for a turkey, the ice hasn't vanished from our North facing drive all day.
