Surely one of the points of a sankey-based trailer is having the same wheels as the truck so that it tracks perfectly and you immediately have spares
Sounds like you need to lower your garage floor One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |

You are right Al , Going think about mounting the tent direct to the trailer lid rather than on roof bars You cannot teach stupid people to do clever things

Good plan. Just thought about this, though - what height is your garage if a trailer + roof tent won't go in? Maybe you should strike the tent first Very jealous by the way of that trailer. I've bought a sankey and have aspirations to convert it with roof tent etc. To be honest, though, I wouldn't get the use out of it (with the young-uns) so I'll stick to my ground tents. Come on Disco...you're a Defender owner...where's your spirit of adventure?... Answer's so simple.... It's Bank Holiday and you've got four days to fill....Rebuild the garage to fit! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

i take it that you can't get it in with by letting the tyre pressures down? i know you have to pump them up every time you go away but it may be less hasstle than carrying a different spare and losing ground clearance? plus you won't have us all taking the at your lowrider.....

Well I reckon that there is nothing wrong with the garage, Steve simply cant reach the handles on the compartment doors. Clearly he is blaming the height of the garage rather than admit he is a short ass. 130's have feeling's as well you know
