Sounds really good
But it's discreet which is what I was after. Factory look with no visable wires |

Very nice .. neat job and looks a reasonable price on eBay too .. hmm .. May have to do something like this. .. Hoping Santa is going to bring some new component speakers so this would finish off the job. 2008 Defender 110 XS SW - M57N2 / 6HP28X

That looks great Tiger I'll be looking to do a similar thing when I get a sub. And a cubby.

Hi Tiger,
The Kenwood website lists the side to side dimension as 280mm and a cubby is only 270mm wide yet your install appears to be the exact width ? Does the Kenwood sub get wider above the base ? |

Yep, I know the dimensions don't add up but in reality it works really well.
When I bought it I thought I'd have a small overhang each side but although it's fractionally wider it doesn't show. Also it fixes through through the cubby from the inside it sits flat. |

Been and double checked and base is beveled in so it sort of narrows a touch.
Anyway like I said I took a risk and it worked better than I expected |

It's a Kenwood KSC-SW11 active subwoofer
Was £119.95, which seems reasonable |

All the cables are in the box.
It doesn't have RCA cables included though if you going to use a pre out ( I did) but it does include a cable to splice into your speakers. If that makes sense? |

Thanks, I've dropped a line to Just Kenwood asking them if they supply the right cables.
