LED Markers door handles etc..

For some reason people find it hard to find the interior door handle in my 110, especially in the back. So i would like to put some dim green LEDs in there to illuminate them and stop being asked

Ideally id want them to come on with ignition or side lights, any suggestions on how to properly wire em up? Instagram @defender_ventures

Somebody on here did a great write up on fitting puddle lights in the foot wells and I am pretty sure he fitted lights into the doors.

Unfortunately I’m not very good with the search function and am unable to find it. If you are better with that than I am you should be able to find something.

2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS DCPU Indus Silver

I wired mine to a usb slot that ive put inside the dash. Including an RF controller so the colour/brightness can be changed.

I if you only want green then you’ll just need a 5/12 volt supply. Depends exactly what you go for. My USB socket drops the 12v sown to 5v so the leds can operate correctly.

You could earth the leds inside the door somewhere or run a pair of cables from your power source to each door, routed through the rubber gait or for the standard wiring you’ll end up with a nice clean finish.
