What I'm saying is that if I had been buying any other spec or model of defender other than a 110 XS station wagon, then I would definitely have gone for the Keswick green/white roof/white HD wheel combo. But felt that Havana was a more suitable and safer colour choice (but still lovely) for the model I was buying. But so many defenders out there in all different combos look so good, it wouldn't matter what choices I'd made, its inevitable when I see a really nice green or red or black or blue or silver one, I'm going to think ooh maybe I should have gone for that. Not because its nicer, just that its different

When put like that I can tune in very quickly and I'm not going to disagree with you. At least Land Rover offer us plenty of choice when specifying a new Defender - unlike some other 4X4 competitors. |

Have to say that the contrast between that rich blue body and the white roof looks very appealing. Is that your own personal fuel tank in the background - I know these vehicles can be a bit thirsty. |

Funny how some car brands charge extra for a contrasting white roof, but on a Defender, where "retro is available for free", it's seen as the badge of someone who could only afford base spec.

Andrew, that blue contrasts very well with the white roof. Looks really good.

"Hurry Up"?....Ha ha ha,...You're spot on! It's been a long time sinse ordering, nearly 6 months, but "she" is now on Australian soil, should be at the Dealer's within days, I reckon we'll have her in a week to 10 days. Cheers, Pickles. |

Apologies firstly for asking a different question in the thread, but it is related.
Can you order an XS something and get it with a white standard roof? Or, do you need to get a base model and spec it up to get a white roof? I'm thinking a 110 Utility XS in Keswick green with a white roof ??? Classic. |

Annoyingly no. XS can have contrast roof but not white. Not really the best thought out plan, a Keswick XS with steels and a white roof would be great!
