From memory,, Pete at Bas tried various so called performance air filters,, with little gained if any California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

IMO a waste of time and no gain to be had in any way really. OE filter is tried and tested so I have no reason to ever change. Similar to the snorkel issue but in that case there it is more justified with a filter you are pretty much swapping like for like but with a snorkel it serves a few purposes. KEEP CALM AND Drill ON

Forgot to mention, how about putting a straight through centre silencer? That will give you a performance increase KEEP CALM AND Drill ON
