Dinitrol can be bought from rejel.com but use their own brand, it is the "old" (read 'preferred' recipe) and is still Dinitrol. I bought the "motorhome (XL) kit for £130 with free next day delivery so a 90 will require less than this. Check out their website for details.
I was advised to buy it from them by the corrosion guru on this site, Zagato, who did the full treatment on my 110. I am not sure what he charges for a 90 but believe me, it is money well spent, his attention to detail is awesome. I planned to drive from the showroom direct to his place in Surrey and only the weather intervened that weekend to delay the process until the following week. Since getting this done, the only other thing I have done is buy a can of ACF-50 for £15 and have treated all exposed rivet heads, bolts, etc. In short, any other mod (apart from security) is just icing on the cake and very nice but not my first priority. I have regarded the Dinitrol as a "stitch in time" - compare this to the price of a new bulkhead, chassis, fitting, etc. a few years in the future. But....above all, enjoy driving your Defender. 1970 Series 2A 88" |

Picked mine up 3 weeks ago, it has been treated to waxoyl by chaps at Mann Automotive in Aberdeenshire (very good), rubber mats in front and back as the standard floor covering is pretty thin and cheap looking, rear wheel cover, spacers on order to allow better turning circle and single swing arm rear wheel carrier (on order) to stop damage to rear door and hinges. If I could it would be down to BAS for remapping but piggy bank empty.

Protection. NAS rear step bumper, rocksliders with or without tree bars, a stronger bumper like a winch bumper. (The winch can come later.)
You have then protected your car from fender benders better. After those get a steering guard which protects you on the road from blown down branches, bicycles & road chippings. Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy.
