Hello,
I am not aware of any flat spot issue. I suggest if you are having any issues then you book your vehicle in with your local dealership then we can try and solve the problem for you. Many Thanks Mike |

Hello,
As above it related to the following concerns: 1) AMBER lamp for DPF on EU5 calibrations illuminating too frequently due to overestimation of soot loading which can lead to a high fuel content in the engine oil due to too frequent regeneration. 2) Driveline oscillation (vibration) at low speed. 3) Hesitation on acceleration after previously backing off on the throttle pedal. Many Thanks Mike |

Mike - "Hesitation on acceleration after previously backing off on the throttle pedal " would be called a flat spot issue in most people's mind - a response of "I am not aware of any flat spot issue" perhaps unintentionally sounds very much like a generalised corporate rebuff

I've got this issue on a May 2013 build.
Always happens when I back off and then re-accelerate in the same gear. It's almost as though the engine stops momentarily. My Disco 'best bits' Defender 110 XS CSW 2013 |

Hi Mike
I bought an ex Landrover Experience 110 from Pentland Edinurgh a couple of weeks ago, over the past few days it has started suffering badly from flat spots and hiccups on acceleration, if I PM my VIN No could you check if the car has any updates outstanding as I don't have a lot of faith in the dealer.
