I'm afraid you're partly wrong there. See here : https://www.gov.uk/towing-with-car/driving...ou-can-tow You can tow trailer >750 so long as; - trailer is not heavier than unladen vehicle weight - total car & trailer weight is not over 3500kg. ok aslightlywrong but it took me ages to get my head around it - I basically want to tow a car on a trailer or a horse box therefore for me to do this legally i have to take my test plus for the sake of biting the bullet and payin a bit of cash it means im aggro free for the rest of my time driving - I do a bit of racing across the country and when i was speaking to some lads in wales they are frequently getting stopped and a fair few have been done for not having the correct license

Yeah better safe than sorry indeed! I will at some point take the test but i don't tow anything >1T anyway so just when I get round to it.
I plan to take my HGV test too or at least learn, because many people say it teaches you to drive with a completely different style / attitude. Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

Previous posts were off topic I know, so today I'm changing fuel filter & filter housing on my 110 then trying to bleed the fuel system. Had terrible problems as you may have seen!
*fingers crossed* Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |
