Stereo Upgrade Part 2
When i 1st got the Puma, one of the first mods i did was to change the headunit to a Alpine, fitted infinity tweeters, pioneer dash mount speakers and sourced a set of cheap infinity speakers 6x9s of ebay and fitted them in enclosures in the rear.

It was ok but not great to be honest and as im in the car so much, i wanted a better sound plus ive blown one of the infinitys.
Today i went in a local car audio supplier to get a blue tooth module for the Alpine unit and came out with a slightly lighter wallet!!!

So next week shes booked in for 2 slim profile Alpine 8" subs mounted under the rear seat, a 4 channel 620 watt alpine amp driving 2 infinity 6x9 kappas in a custom built shelf built as a replacement cover for my drawer system in the back with the existing enclosures fixed directly onto the shelf
Blue tooth kit being integrated into the system and the whole setup being re wired with more substantial cable.
All will be nice and hidden Very Happy

If this dont work then Censored to it!!!

Censored me I never realised how much you could potentially spend in a car audio shop.

The guy laughed when I told him I had a defender and said you can't get the base "mate" like I was some boy racer Mr. Green

Well as the nearest i get to drum and base is the grateful dead I don't think I need it really, he was rather obnoxious about it all and tried to make me buy a clarion Rolling Eyes which I thought was like amstrad or some such.

Anyway can anyone post recomendations for sound systems or speaker upgrades so I can avoid showing my ignorance in a shop again Thumbs Up

Parrots, also known as psittacines (pronounced /ˈsɪtəsaɪnz/),[2][3] are birds of the roughly 372 species in 86 genera that make up the order Psittaciformes,[4] found in most warm and tropical regions. The order is subdivded in three families: the Psittacidae ('true' parrots), the Cacatuidae (cockatoos) and the Strigopidae (New Zealand parrots).[5] Parrots have a pan-tropical distribution with several species inhabiting the temperate Southern Hemisphere as well. The greatest diversity of parrots is found in South America and Australasia.

I think you should ask for a Radiomobile, preferably a valve unit so at least it warms up the motor, which receives the BBC Home Service, and horse racing from Athlone.
