Is there a way to support the stereo??
I've recently swapped the radio in my Td5 90 to a newer L/R unit but it must be slightly heavier, it is slipping down and gradually sits at an angle, is there a way of keeping it from slipping, it's the back that will need supporting in some way, maybe a bit of wire hooked around it at the back?
Has anyone had a similar problem and cured it? It's a bit of a pain to take the dash out again, is there any easy way of getting behind again?

Slide the HU out.. You should find a female threaded support hole at the rear (depends on make and model) You should be able to work something out with that. Thumbs Up $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Normaly new head units are supplied with small threaded bar, and a rubber cover that goes over that. It screws into rear of hu and into hole at rear of dash for support.

I found an old radio with one fitted (luckily) after having the same problem - actually a bit worse as the whole thing vibrated out whilst in Morocco Smile

A bit of tape on the front worked for a while until I got fed up with the mess and found the pluh thing. All fine now.
