Thanks Darren for posting the instructions.
Do you think I should call the dealer so they can pick the car up, exchanging it for a nice Evoque free of charge, and swap the cars back when they have fixed it at the end of the day? Could also fix it myself in 5 minutes... |

Replaced wing mirror arm as it was bubbling and flaking badly. I have been waiting since my last visit to Stratstone, where they didn't fix the usual water leak on the passenger side.... anyway last visit was in March! It took them two visits before they acknowledged the issue was covered under warranty. So got fed up waiting and picked one up myself today, needless to say I don't answer the phone or text or email from Stratstone anymore. _______________________________

Loaded the 110 up to go on holiday:
Click image to enlarge I thought that all of the bikes on the roof might blunt the performance a bit, but I was pleasantly surprised on the motorway Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? BM52 - I have a 300tdi 90 factory CSW but now the rear seats removed.
I have put these in: NRC9446 819.98 lbs load 175.07 lbs/inch rate BLUE-GREEN colour code 15.19 inch free length 7.75 coils NRC9447 819.98 lbs load 175.07 lbs/inch rate BLUE-YELLOW colour code 14.69 inch free length 7.75 coils Really pleased with it. Unless I have to really load it up I don't think it will be an issue and I never carry more than a moderate load in the rear hence why I changed. Also helps that I got the springs for free from my mate who is a design engineer at Gaydon for LR and it was his recommendation on these after I mentioned to him that I was not happy with the ride with no load in the back. I removed the centre silencer and replaced it with the terrafirma straight pipe.
It doesn't exactly give it a 'note' but I think it has definitely improved the driveability as its smoother and more powerful in low revs. Maybe the turbo is spooling sooner and more gradually. I have also fixed one of my chattery defender problems as it turned the old unit was hitting the bottom of the transmission when it got out of balance in certain circumstances. |
