Nanocom 1
I've got a bit of a problem with my Nanocom 1, nothing to do with it's operation, it's the fact that I can't get one of the buttons to work. Sods law dictates that it has to be the most important one, the one to the left that activates most of the commands. I had a quick look inside tonight and whilst yes a replacement switch could be soldered in, there is a little gadget on the underside of the pcb.
So the long and short of it is, does anybody know who can repair one of these at a reasonable cost. It's not a big hurry, the laptop can sort out the important bits and at the moment it opens up in instument mode. I was just been curious as it is only mildly irritating at the moment.

Mine had to go back to Italy for some EPROM work, did not take long and was pretty cheap postage

I'm sure it's just a standard little push button.

I'll have a look at mine later and see if there's any buttons on the RS website (got an account for them at work). If so i'll get one for ya. can post it to you or you can send your nanocom here and i'll solder it in.
