I've got a bit of a problem with my Nanocom 1, nothing to do with it's operation, it's the fact that I can't get one of the buttons to work. Sods law dictates that it has to be the most important one, the one to the left that activates most of the commands. I had a quick look inside tonight and whilst yes a replacement switch could be soldered in, there is a little gadget on the underside of the pcb.
So the long and short of it is, does anybody know who can repair one of these at a reasonable cost. It's not a big hurry, the laptop can sort out the important bits and at the moment it opens up in instument mode. I was just been curious as it is only mildly irritating at the moment. |
