As above for me too. You could have it central in the vehicle so it's passenger usable too but I found that having it on display on the dash I couldn't stand the look of so opted for the same method as above. TheThunder Rollsπ¬π§πΊπΈ

I used to stick my microphone on the mirror mount on my Td5 to keep it as far from wind noise through door seal. People told me it was very clear.

I bought a Scangauge mirror blendmount and my microphone sits on top of my Scangauge. Central to the vehicle is good I reckon!

Got mine centred on top of the instrument binnacle as well in my Td5 and seems to work well. Was going to put it up the a-pillar, but then decided that on top of the instruments was closest to my mouth and in direct 'sound line' - seems to work very well (parrot system integrated into Kenwood HU). 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

Mines on the interior light,a central position thats out of the way, don't know if an open window affects the sound quality.

Thanks all - I'll go with the factory fit location.
As a matter of interest is there a trick for getting the 'recirc air' slider across to the recirculated air location on the slider - mine won't budge to the photo taken by g13non? |

Could be jumping the gun here but sounds to me like the cable is either broken or bent! ![]() β½οΈπ’οΈβοΈπ§°πͺ |
