Why not just park your car with the door open & keys in the ignition in a car park in Liverpool! Same result! Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

Not sure what you mean, .. & if a curly wig & shell suit are needed as well Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender

Don't see why it couldn't be done, but I'd guess you'd need to make security your number 1 priority then! It's bad enough anyway! Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

He still wants the ignition to be key operated. So no less secure than it is already. |

not sure, but looks like this has one fitted..... if it has, then at least technically it could be done, if not financially

i fitted one to my range rover classic a few years ago, it was real easy to fit, i would recommend fitting a good quality one the cheap ones don't last very long

Buy a Series I
I do find it amusing that the "engine start" button is back in demand, technology had moved on to key start 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top 2015 D90 XS SW |

Technology now seems to have moved beyond key start, which is why a button is again needed. I recently had an Evoke on loan and the 'key' stayed in my pocket as there wasn't anywhere to insert it in the car.
Perhaps a button will eventually be replaced by thought control Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought!" - Princess Leia |
