Just wish that I had a camera tonight. Not only has my wife waved at other Defenders she has now started helping me undertake a mod, there she was screwdriver in hand while I sat back and just let her get on with it.

I think that must be at least stage 3 in the conversion to Defender process, maybe stage 4 Thumbs Up BM52

Bow down

Mine must be a stage 1 then... "A what ? An A-Frame ? But that would hide the radiator grill, wouldn't it ? I think it looks cute like this"

"Cute", she said Big Cry Chris

Fitting my Nakatenga leather door handles (thx Brendan Thumbs Up ) & tried out my new work light. Both good. Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender

a week on since having the goodyear MTRs fitted, delighted with them, the garage who fitted and balanced them did a fantastic job, typically 4x4 tyres are a bit of a bu99er to balance, even at 70mph these feel rock solid.

I think that looks fantastic although something similar might just look odd in my puma.

I have toyed with the idea of chequer plate but I cant locate anyone that sells the template im after, so I may need to get the grinder out and make some noise

using a disco1 handbrake is good news, there's lots more of those available.... are they the same part no as the RRC ? (they look very similar)

Looks great & like the inverse logic of a loadspace protector that would cost 10 times the original loadspace to replace!
