Tim, as for us on the mainland it will be difficult to make the Bristol & West LR show later in June , any scoop to give us on above statement yet? Best, Eric You never actually own a Defender. Hello Eric
The scoop is that the SVX light is specifically tooled for the Defender and Land Rover own the tooling so there are no aftermarket replacements not matter how hard you look on Trucklite's website You still need to keep that faith as we are reproducing the lamp in LED with J W Speaker however engineering have been busy but I cannot comment on what Click image to enlarge So the SVX driving lamp is in the system and will become available soon - as soon as there are any updates or prototypes I will be straight back to you all. |

Tim, you did notice of course that I did edit my post about Trucklite after digging a bit deeper into what they really produce....
So we continue to wait patiently , but it is good to hear that it is really being looking into by Speaker now You never actually own a Defender. Guess we are all waiting first to see the tech solution, i.e. how do they look, are they a good match for combining with the Speaker 8700(evo), how much lumen output (more is better ), beam type (hope not pencil), ECE approval, plug 'n play wiring or not, how will the height adjustment work, etc..... I have no doubt Tim has kept all this in mind when working with Speaker (I believe it is them...) on the development of these 90 mm high beam aux replacement units.... As said before, we keep the faith You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Thought your incredibly bright light bar made switching to LED headlamps overkill, no? You never actually own a Defender. So, your headlights are the 8700 model?....Did they simply bolt in with no mods, without affecting the headlight levelling system? You are obviously happy with them? Cheers, Pickles. |

@Eric - I was thinking buying them for when I have the LED bar on the other 110, or the ice was rackless @pickles - there's loads of threads on the 8700's but yes, you take the old light off, then strap the new light on. same connectors etc. "plug and pray" (pray no one nicks them) |
