On the 2.4 it's a simple swap over of HU. The 2.2 it has been altered to a more difficult design to change over.

Price I wouldn't remotely know, I didn't think I'd need to Amp my ride again since my early driving years. As said, I was considering a hands free kit but only just found that you can get HU's with this incorporated. I definately want Aux in and definately Preouts
What's out there that others have used covering my spec requirement |

Plenty available I shall have a look for you later if you'd like? Regarding BT that is easily possible however most HU that have BT built in are 2 DIN bar a few exceptions which would mean you'd need a new custom bought / made dash to fit a 2 DIN HU into.
Single DIN HU I would go for if I was you with BT added on (Only a small unit) that way you get great functionality without super high prices. And despite what some may say the add on units are not difficult to fit nor do they get in the way. Maybe if it was a Ferrari but in even a 90 there is plenty of room. Pre outs and aux in depends on the actual unit but is all in the details of each unit and it's capability's. Price range will likely be between £150 & £350 for the HU & BT. Amp and 6x9 wise is another subject again. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

Many thanks for you're info, plenty of more research to be had. I've seen a couple of Single DIN units in Halfords that are Bluetooth to receive and make calls, didn't say anything about extra hidden boxes

Ah, question on you're Parrot unit. I'm guessing its Bluetooth and Handsfree?, how many Pre outs does it have. I need 2 plus a separate Sub Preouts

Going of memory but sure there are 2 outs and and sub out. I have a sub out but the speakers are just standard at the minute. Think when I get my next 90 ill spend a bit more time on the sound system and sound proofing.

My Parrott has been working great. But I've never updated it. I have heard a lot of people on here moaning about them and even sending them back. Mines never let me down and use the Bluetooth everyday to make true hands free calls. You just say the name you want and it dials. I also use the Bluetooth to listen to all the music I have on my phone.
Radio reception is good to. |

It may have been this year / only some models affected. There was a user on here that had an issue with the 2.2 that didn't have ISO plugs as standard not long ago. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

A possible 2 DIN option: Kenwood DDX3023 Multimedia Centre
Medium price range at £200 odd bearing in mind a 2DIN dash costs around the same! A single DIN option: Kenwood KVT526 & BT300 I think the above would be the most suitable option for you a straight swap all the features you want and more presides. This is used: KVT-526 Used But maybe worth a pop providing it doesn't go up in price much. Also check every item is included. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

As far as I know they are all either 2 DIN or Single DIN flip out (like mine see gallery) There may also be single DIN with faceplate 2" style display also. If you search 'Kenwood BT compatibility list' on Google they have a proper set up where you can check what HU works with what phone and BT system. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |
