Problem at idling
Some times (randomly) when the defender is in Idling the revs start to drop from 800 to 700-600 RPM in a 1 second cycle. That doenst stop the motor, but not feel very comfortable. If you have the bad luck to try to take off when the iddle is low the engine stops.

Any tought of the cause?

Thanks Eduardo

On a 2.4 or 2.2?

Fuel pickup issue? Fuel pump?

Whenever I get this type of issue, I chuck in some diesel cleaner in case there are contaminants in the tank/pump.

Forgot to say, take a video and post it to YouTube and we can then tell what's potting. Thumbs Up --

BS

Yes, All of them.
But will be remaped during the weekend...

In my case the problem started around 2 weeks ago.

Cheers Eduardo
