Managed to pick up a full matching set of five boosts and excellent BFG AT's which I've been looking for for a while, not keen on the white writing though but that can be changed
Very happy with them Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Last weekend I had all the tyres swapped over so the hideous white writing was on the inside
Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Today I got out and had a play in the snow that we've had, really impressed with the grip of the BFG's, felt invincible Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Down at the farm.....
Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Decided to fit side windows and I'm fitting rear seats, so I bought new windows from Masai which were recomended and are really good quality I picked up a full headling of eBay and also some side window trims off eBay but I recognised a forum members defender when I collected them Didn't take any pics of the window fitting as I was rushing and forgot, ha Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Going to dynamat the rear now and carpet it up, then some exmoor trim rear seats, I think I'm going to go for the forward facing ones I'll put more pics up as I progress |

So I've managed to get a bit done in the back of the defender lately, I got the rear soundproofed and ply lined so its nice and clean and flat, then picked up some grey carpet and got it all covered over which I think looks nice and neat!
Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Then I originally wanted to fit exmoor trim forward facing seats but when I got them I wasn't happy with the quality or the fitting and I didn't like the way they almost touch each other so I ended up getting some puma rear seats off eBay which are 10 times better! Got a matching pair of fronts off the same chaps too which I'm really happy with and make a massive difference to the tatty originals I've fitted the rear seats on top of the arch at the moment because the headroom isn't an issue as my boy will be sitting in them but I'm getting some arch panels in the next few week so they will eventually be the same as the pumas Old seats Click image to enlarge New fronts and rears Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge On the outside I've fitted some xs side steps that I got off another forum member Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge and that's about it for the minute really, still got a long list of things to do as usual..... |
